WHAT’S RUSTLING MY JIMMIES

As you all know, there has been an assault on assault weapons, or, should I say, so-called assault weapons, which is a word the left uses to try to demonize them. The term “assault weapon” wasn’t used for civilian semi-automatic weapons until the 80’s, and it was incorporated by the left to make the weapons sound menacing and dangerous. Everyone is against assault, right?

WHAT’S IN THE NEWS

In free-range kids news, Utah has now become the first state to pass—unanimously—the Free-Range Kids bill, which specifically allows parents to let their kids run errands, play outside, and even wait briefly in the car without fear of arrest.

In taxation is theft news, a new report shows that thanks to high taxes, cigarette smuggling in the US is high, very high, depending on the state you’re talking about.

In war is hell news, an American soldier has pleaded guilty to being part of a “kill team” who deliberately murdered Afghan civilians for sport last year.

In Big Brother news, jaywalkers in China are to be named, shamed and slapped with an instant SMS fine. And it’s all thanks to cutting-edge artificial intelligence.

ASK ME ANYTHING

It’s that time again, where I answer your questions! We have questions about the Free State Project, how I juggle my activism, update on my weight loss, and a bunch of other stuff.
